Godson Nwankwo is the Leader of The New Africa Youth Movement where he currently works with young people from over 25 states of Nigeria to drive citizens’ participation in elections and policy development. He also serves with Electoral College Nigeria as the Deputy Director for the South-East region. He is a graduate of Electrical Electronics Engineering with a major in Telecommunications and Electronics. He is passionate about public policy and has special interest in education and technology. He Founded Leadhills Network with 6 other young leaders and through the network has reached 300 young professionals via its Young Leaders Summit and over 1500 secondary School students in 4 states of Nigeria on educational outreaches, donating learning materials and school fees to indigent students. Godson is a Fellow at Future Africa where he developed research, policy development and writing skills. He is also an alumnus of School of government and Politics; a fellow at Africa for Africa School of Government; an Associate of Electoral College Nigeria, a General Kopho Leadership fellow, among others. He is a board member of Afreecan Read literary Initiative and serves as the lead correspondent. He hopes to serve the good people of his constituency and contribute immensely to the improvement of education and Technology in Nigeria.

He is fully registered as an architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and is a full member of the Nigeria Institute of Architects (NIA). In 2016, Abubakar co-founded Guild & Build Architects Ltd; a full-fledged Architectural/Construction firm with full statutory registrations to do business in Nigeria. The firm accrued an average annual turnover of 100 million naira within its first three years of operation and continues to thrive. Abubakar is passionate about national development and has volunteered in several non-profit organizations and has led advocacy initiatives in his constituency for the inclusion and participation of youth in politics.

Due to his passion for development and competence, he undertook diverse courses in leadership, project management and public policy. He is currently enrolled as a student in the prestigious unconventional School of Politics, Policy, and Governance (SPPG) for a Certificate Course in Public Leadership and Policy. Through these courses, Haruna has built character, capacity and competence while excellently honing his leadership skills. Haruna believes in the Power of One for positive change and impact. Pamela Igrubia is a law graduate from Baze University, Abuja. She is an enthusiast for self-development and during her time in the University she was vibrant in providing pro-Bono legal services through the university’s law clinic. She served as the Representative of the International Humanitarian Law Clinic for 2 semesters. During her time, she initiated an advocacy program known as ‘TUTORwithLOVE’, where students go into Internally Displaced Persons Camp to teach the children and disseminate the knowledge of International Humanitarian Law. The program served as a platform to state that the children have a right to education irrespective of their circumstance. She is currently the Chairman of the Youth Against Human Trafficking Project Committee 2022, a committee created under the Migration and Trafficked Persons Law Clinic, Baze University. While in school, she was also Chairman of the Law Student’s Association Electoral Committee in 2022. She also owns a startup called ‘dazzledbytozii’ where I create contemporary bags with the use of pearls. Her hobbies include spending quality time with God and Reading.

He volunteered as Information Officer at the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa state on Non-Governmental Affairs (NGO’s) in 2017. During that time, he coordinated the activities of registered NGOs in the state and bridged the gap between the government and NGO’s which eventually led to the establishment of the Ministry of NGO’s and Cooperatives in 2019. He has also volunteered and collaborated with several NGO’s and Civil Society organisations such as the Yiaga Africa, Sing Nigeria amongst others on issues bordering on democracy, good governance, policy formulation and environment. His core skills are web development, administration, research and analysis, investigative journalism, effective and informed communication, documentation and computer literacy. She is a certified sustainability leader and an advocate for the sustainable development goals (SDGs), with a focus on quality education for all, as well as equal opportunities regardless of gender. Her interests include reading, meeting new people, and technology. She is currently studying UX/UI Design to contribute to designing products that address the needs of users.

Olise Abu has a firm resolve to improve the lives of vulnerable groups and a commitment to the overall growth of Nigeria and Africa. He is a Mastercard Foundation Alumni – part of less than 1% of applicants who succeed in gaining the scholarship to study at the University of Edinburgh. At the University of Edinburgh, he completed a masters in Africa and International Development, cementing competencies in socio-political theories, interdisciplinary research, critical thinking, policy analysis and understanding economic and governance paradigms, especially in stimulating Africa’s growth. At Edinburgh, he interned with Sammantrana Consulting, Singapore and helped create guidelines for supporting financially disadvantaged students. He is a polymath with training and certifications as a medical laboratory technician, rehabilitation officer and special educator – a registered educator with the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria. He began his leadership journey as a secondary school student participating in three consecutive Model United Nations conferences in Nigeria and emerging Under-Secretary-General Operations in 2010. As a medical laboratory technician, he participated in community medical outreaches focused on two global health areas – Hepatitis and HIV/AIDS. In 2018 while completing his undergraduate studies, he co-founded a radio program called ‘Special People’ at the University of Jos, Nigeria. It served as a voice for persons with disabilities and touched on issues related to their socio-cultural, political, educational, and economic disadvantages and prospects as equal and essential members of society.

He aspires to establish a reputable social enterprise to assist in providing electricity to his community using alternative energy sources. To address this, he aspires to become an elected public official, preferably in the legislature, to propose laws, raise motions, and conduct oversight functions to address Nigeria's electricity challenges.

He is a European Forum Alpbach scholar and holds a master’s degree in Forensic Science from the University of Ibadan. He is the media and communications chair of the Afrika Youth Movement (AYM), a fellow of the Nigerian School on Internet Governance and doubles as Communication support for the UNESCO-led Media and Information Literacy Alliance Youth Committee. Dough is currently supporting grassroots activists across Nigeria as communications lead for the Speak Up, Stand Out (The SUSO Program) funded by Voice Global. As a researcher at the University of Calabar, Dough uses his everyday lecture room experience working with about 3,000 youths annually to teach digital skills and deliver capacity-building training to ensure that young people are equipped with the working knowledge of the world outside of the University classrooms. Thus, he offers pro bono undergraduate admissions advisory to parents from many low-income areas in Southwestern Nigeria. He has over five years of university level teaching and research experience in materials science and engineering, particularly in areas related to corrosion engineering and electrochemical energy storage and has also previously taught in primary and secondary education space for over six years. He intends to develop a career in the policy development space, particularly as a legislator; where he can help deliver some of the dividends of democracy to people in areas like his hometown where low education access still drives insecurity, economic emigration, and poor health.

Her meritorious performance led to her appointment as the President of the Press Club. In 2009, Abimbola proceeded to study Urban and Regional Planning from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and was elected a representative of her class for three years. Abimbola's passion for human rights and in making laws that represent the interests of her constituency and the progress and unity of her country motivated her to obtain a second degree in Law and Legal Studies after her first degree from the same institution in 2016. During her academic journey, Abimbola also engaged in several extracurricular activities and won various awards for her distinguished performances notably in Environmental Activities, Student's Activism and Sports. Particularly in 2013, Abimbola won silver medal together with her team while representing Oṣun State at the National Youth Games held in Abuja. Abimbola is a recipient of the Omprakash Ethical and Educational Global Engagement (EDGE) scholarship and the Travel Access Project Grant in 2018.

Currently, he is the Founder/CEO of Tobest Agricultural Products Limited, an integrated farm that rear and process broilers, turkeys, catfish, and plantain, located at Igbara Odo (Ekiti State) and Akure (Ondo State). In 2019, Oluwatobi was one of the beneficiaries of Youth Employment in Agribusiness and Sustainable Agriculture (YEASA) program organized by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in conjunction with Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD). In 2021, he was a co-facilitator in catfish production during the YEASA programme. In 2020, at the end of his National Youth Service Corps programme, he was awarded a State Honours Award by the Governor of Abia state for his immensely contribution to the socio-economic development of Abia state. He served as the Corps Liaison Officer, his personal community development projects executed include installation of borehole Water Facility at Farmers Migrant primary school and provision of 20 chairs and desks at Federal Science and Technical College. He also trained 30 youths and corps members on agro-allied skill acquisition in Ohanso Community.

She Completed my National Youth Service in 2020 under the Committee on Legislative Compliance, National Assembly after which she was retained as a Legislative Aide (Research and Social Development) to Hon. Dennis Idahosa because of her exemplary performance. She is currently a legislative draftsman who is highly devoted to nation building through the development and implementation of quality legislations. She is also the Co-founder of the Circles for Leadership and Educational Development (CLAED) with a mandate to proffer sustainable solutions geared at youth leadership and educational development for African children, with a core focus on the vulnerable and underprivileged. She aspires to become an educational policy development expert so she can develop policies that would resuscitate the waning sector and to facilitate access to quality education for deprived African children and provide rural youths with mind shifting orientation needed to drive innovation within their immediate communities and beyond through various initiatives under CLAED.

He is a fellow at the ECOWAS scholar’s program and a Scholar at the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) Scholars’ Program. He is currently the President and Founder of The Debate Africa (@thedebateafrica); designed to be the largest and most-engaging platform for African university students to debate on contemporary policy, economic, political, historical, and governance issues in Africa. Stanley has published 3 academic papers in Data Science in the areas of Decision Tree Classification algorithms, Differential Privacy, and Active databases. His background in Mathematics and Computer Science avails him a vast amount of knowledge and confidence in solving problems using Mathematical Modelling, Machine Learning techniques, and critical thinking mechanisms. Stanley is a solution-oriented and proactive individual with admirable leadership qualities. He has led, and still leads several youth-led, religious, alumni, and civil society groups. He has a special interest in World politics, governance, policies and policy formulation, economics, and African history. Stanley plays the piano and listens to music as part of his extra-curricular activities. He is also a good sportsman who loves sports and plays football and volleyball to keep fit. Board games are also one of his favorite ways to relax and unwind.

Muhammad Mubashir Ismail is a graduate of History from Gombe State University and he is currently pursuing his Masters in History and Diplomacy at Federal University Kashere. Muhammad is the current Gombe State Coordinator with YvoteNaija. He has over 1500 hours volunteering in community service and civic engagement across the state and beyond. As an active volunteer with several non-profit organizations in Gombe State, he has volunteered in various capacities.
